About us

Tayabali & White was founded in 1979 with the ethos of being an accounting firm that combines strong technical expertise with an exceptional level of personal service that can only genuinely be provided where the directors have an intimate understanding of their clients. And it works – many clients and their families are still with us 40 years later.

Those founding principles carry on to this day. Over the years the practice has grown through referral and recommendations so that today we have a fascinating range of business and private clients in Cambridge, London and overseas, who share our values.

In order to meet the high standards we set, we need a strong team. Our staff have an invaluable blend of experience, qualifications and long service that our clients rely on.

Chris Cobb

Chris Cobb

In Memoriam

It is with much sadness that our friend and colleague Chris passed away on April 29th 2026. He had been diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in August 2025 and started treatment in December 2025. We all hoped that the treatment would yield positive results and there were some signs of improvement but sadly not enough to give him a good chance of survival. Throughout his diagnosis and treatment Chris was very brave and open about the challenge he faced. He wanted to carry on working in order to maintain contact with his clients, continue to be a valued member of our team and to maintain some sort of normality. He has been a stalwart of our business for over 30 years and will be sorely missed by us all.
